Washington WR Terry McLaurin describes what makes Jayden Daniels special

Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin are the new combination for the Washington Governors offense.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin is teaming up with another new quarterback this season, but his next partner may have more talent than anyone before him.

Jayden Daniels is the new quarterback in town for the Commanders, and as a Heisman Trophy winner, he has high expectations entering the league.

There is hope that Daniels may be just what McLaurin is looking for.

“He just naturally has the ability to have a feel for the game, which is very unique for any quarterback, let alone a rookie,” McLaurin said. “But obviously as we continue to grow, he has a feel for how I run my routes, how I get over my brakes, the timing of my release and a feel for my speed down the field … the more reps we get, it’s just going to it makes us better.”

Daniels and McLaurin worked throughout the offseason, and it’s still a work in progress. However, each passing day of training camp will give these two a chance to get on the same page. If Daniels and McLaurin can click, they should have success on the gridiron at the right time.
