Princess Kate continues a legacy of powerful matriarchs
The Princess of Wales has found comfort and strength in her close-knit family since being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, with strong female figures playing a key role in her journey.
In an exclusive interview with HELLO! for this week’s issue, royal writer Robert Jobson highlighted the supportive presence of Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton.
Carole has been a constant source of comfort and support for Kate and William during this difficult time,” Jobson revealed.
She emphasized her role in not only supporting Kate but also encouraging Prince William, especially given his father’s battle with cancer.
Jobson, whose upcoming book Catherine: Princess of Wales is due to be published on August 1, highlights the importance of family solidarity and the resilience Kate has shown amid her health struggles.
According to sources speaking to HELLO!, the family, including Carole, Pippa and their brother James, have rallied around Kate during this difficult time.
“They are a very close family and Kate’s illness has brought them even closer,” the source shared.
“Carole and Pippa, along with James, have been instrumental in supporting Kate on her journey.”
“She has lent a hand with the school administration and makes trips to local shops for supplies.
Her presence was a huge source of support for the whole family.”
Earlier this year, Carole was spotted driving with Kate near Windsor and was spotted accompanying Prince William to a local pub near their Norfolk, Wales home in April, showing her continued support amid family challenges.
